Expertise Description

My career has spanned more than two decades in the field of Child and Adolescent Forensic Psychiatry. My expertise includes child forensic issues such as child custody evaluations, competency to stand trial assessments, diagnostic evaluations and risk assessments for the juvenile courts, parenting assessments in dependency cases, child sexual abuse allegations and child trauma assessments and diagnostic assessments in school consultation, and child immigration cases. I have been an academic faculty member and qualified expert in juvenile and adult courts. I have prior experience as a child and adolescent forensic psychiatry expert witness.

Consulting Experience

My consulting services include supervising several medical students and psychiatry residents; Assistant Clinical Professor in a university Department of Psychiatry; research experience in pediatric / adolescent psychiatry; and providing basic health education on oral rehydration techniques.
