Expertise DescriptionI have more than 38 years of experience working with developmentally disabled children and adults in a community residential setting. I have worked in small and large facilities for the intellectually disabled and developmentally disabled in non-profit and public sectors. I established group homes in Ohio, Arizona, Virginia, Kentucky as well as West Virginia. My experience also included working with multi-handicapped residents with autism, accidental death, severe seizure disorders, cerebral palsy and psychiatric disorders often requiring behavior intervention and psychotropic medication. I have extensive experience in relation to Standard of Care issues in group homes, knowledge of State Licensure and regulation guidelines and several cases pertaining to wrongful death and personal injury.
