Expertise Description: P.E. – Provides forensic engineering, failure analysis and expert witness services to large commercial property owners, insurance companies, and attorneys. Specializes in fire investigations, product defect cases, and construction defect cases involving appliances, electrical equipment, HVAC Equipment, Photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, low voltage / communication wiring and electronic control systems. Experience designing, installing, and operating data, broadband, and voice networks. Performs equipment inspections, analysis, and evaluations for Machinery Breakdown insurers. Provides engineering services for personal injury cases and wrongful death cases involving electrical equipment or controls systems. Investigates fires involving photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, product defects of solar panels, and installation, operations, and maintenance issues related to photovoltaic solar panels. Provides engineering investigations of fire and water losses; construction claims including construction defect claims, schedule / delay impact analysis, insurance loss evaluation, and standard of care analysis; financial analysis, estimating, and cost justification; construction; engineering; and accidents and safety. Licensed Electrical Engineer. Prior expert witness experience. Has consulted on over 300 cases.
