Expertise Description: M.D. - Has practiced clinical and forensic psychiatry for more than 35 years and is Board-Certified, Diplomate in Psychiatry as well as in Forensic Psychiatry. Has presented his expert medical opinion in over 5,000 cases in Federal, State, and Administrative jurisdictions, and to employers nationwide. Has testified in approximately 150 trials and 500 depositions. In his teaching career, expert has been Assistant Clinical Professor at U.C. San Francisco Medical School with special emphasis on the psychiatric aspects of Chronic Pain, as well as Clinical Psychiatry for more than 25 years. For more than 10 years has taught attorneys at San Francisco's Hastings Law School Post-Graduate Program on Trial and Appellate Advocacy on the examination and cross-examination of expert witnesses. Special areas of expertise are PTSD, the evaluation of Emotional Distress, Diminished Capacity, TBI, Testamentary Capacity and Undue Influence, and Employment Litigation. User-friendly testimony and thorough, accessible reports, based on skilled synthesis of IMEs, medical records review, are the basis of this expert's reputation.
