Additional expertise in weather pattern interpretation; radar and satellite image analysis; extreme rainfall event analysis and characterization; and many other aspects in forensic meteorology and climatology. Has consulted as an expert witness on over 100 cases involving forensic meteorology, past weather event reconstruction, extreme rainfall, and wind event analyses. Has also been hired for weather forecasting services, wind analyses, climatological site assessments, and other activities related to his expertise. Former Chair of the Department of Geosciences at a California State University. Has published numerous articles in his field. Ph.D. in Geology. Over 25 years expert witness experience.
