I have extensive experience in the field of Hardware and Software Engineering, specializing in complex issues of patent infringement and validity. My expertise includes hardware and software design for embedded systems (chip, board, and system levels); high-level applications, graphical user interfaces, application program interfaces (APIs), development tools, and distribution systems. I have a deep background in design engineering, which involves peripheral chips and microcontrollers (applied to cell phones, smart cards, and RFID tags). My high-tech forensic engineering experience includes reverse engineering of chips / boards / systems / firmware; clean-room design; deconstruction of complex integrated circuits; and extraction of processor microcode for high-tech patents and IP disputes. Consulting Experience
My consulting experience includes having created original software-accelerated algorithms as the basis for a commercial cellular-automata education product, proposed and / or predicted original microcomputer design concepts, including solidstate disk replacements, chip serialization techniques, and instruction-level program threading, product design and prototyping, technical analysis, specification development consulting for many prestigious companies. My consulting experience also includes serving as a lecturer in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science within the Engineering community.
