Relevant Experiences

I have worked on several grinder wheel failure cases in the past. Specifically, I have worked on injury cases involving grinder wheel failures on grinders without proper guarding.

I have been involved in a dozen or so cases involving assessment of traction characteristics and to VCT and other types of flooring tiles.

I have personally worked on a number of cases involving evaluation and characterization of damages caused by lightning strikes on materials, such as CSST (Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing). To prove that there was a lightning strike at the Subject building, we would have to show either damage on the structure consistent with the electrical energy delivered by a typical lightning strike, or show damage to electronics within the building consistent with electrical power delivered by a lightning strike. I have both mechanical engineers (with materials/metallurgy specialization) and electrical engineers on my staff to assist in addressing the technical issues involved.

I have worked on a number of cases involving instability of lifting equipment such as cranes, forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts. I have worked on a number of structural collapses including crane failures.
