Expertise DescriptionI have over 15 years in Mechanical Engineering, Accident Reconstruction, Biomechanics, and Safety. I have investigated more than 150 accidents including motor vehicle reconstructions (cars, airbags, seatbelts, trucks, motorcycles, pedestrians, bicycles, etc.), consumer products ( golf carts, power tools & ladders), slip/trip, rollovers, and falls and extensive experience creating computer simulations and 3D animations. I have more than 10 years expert witness experience.

My expert witness experience include: Motor vehicle accident reconstruction including: speed analysis, accident causation, seat belt analysis, low speed rear end impacts, air bag deployment investigations, pedestrian accidents, cycling accidents; Mechanical engineering design and safety including: structural analysis, machine guarding, forklift accidents, scaffolding falls, stepladders, extension ladders, articulating ladders, power tool accidents, golf card ejections and rollovers; Biomechanical injury analysis and computer simulation; Slips, trips and falls, building code analysis and friction testing.
My consulting services include: Accident investigation and litigation support; Testing, site inspections and evidence documentation; Product safety auditing.
I have evaluated numerous cervical spine, head and neck injuries in the past including strangulation and hanging cases. I have 38 years’ experience evaluating complex medical issues. I have testified on numerous occasions regarding life expectancy.
My experience and expertise includes machine design and guarding and I have investigated accidents involving clothing presses and similar machines, including forklift investigations, in the past.
