Expertise DescriptionI have over 30 years experience in Animal Nutrition with expertise in comprehensive feeding services, nutrition research programs and analytical laboratory serving multiple global zoological collections, exotic companion species, and field studies. I have additional experience in agriculture science: improving milk and meat production through sustainable dietary interventions with locally available ingredients, targeted for multiple livestock species (cattle, goats, camels, poultry, sheep), and alternative species and ingredients in sustainably meeting food and nutrition needs of a growing human population. I have prior expert witness experience with consultations and depositions.
Areas of Expertise
I have worked within the comparative animal nutrition industry for >30 years, formulating rations, evaluating clinical conditions, overseeing quality control aspects for both private and public (zoological) institutions, feed companies, and individuals, working with a variety of species and feedstuffs. Additionally, I initiated and oversaw analytical laboratory operations (quality control and research/development applications) at two former workplaces, and implemented analytical quality control programs for at least two other client companies.
