Expertise DescriptionI have more than 40 years of experience in Audio and Electronic Systems Design, ranging from discrete transistor design to complex ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits). I have designed and developed electronics for music faculty research, and served as architect and digital systems designer for a multichannel datalogger product line. I have developed laser diode drive circuitry for a device which marked “edge code” on motion picture release, and led an engineering team to develop a motion picture soundtrack format, participating in and supervising the design of a 6-channel digital recorder and formatter, film camera, digital audio, printhead adapters, playback sensor unit, and Cinema Adapter systems. I am also skilled in team development, as I grew a core of 3 engineers to a team of 25 engineers and technical experts to support the testing of hardware and software encoders and decoders for the launch of the DVD format, as well as HDTV service. I have prior expert witness experience.
