I have over 50 years experience in biomechanics, industrial and automotive accidents, as well as consumer product liability matters. I specialize in the analysis and reconstruction of low-speed impact and ladder accidents. I have an extensive background in mechanical, biomechanical, structural, transportation, and human factors engineering. My expertise includes: accident reconstruction, product liability, biomechanics, computer/video animation, mechanical, biomechanical, structural, electrical, transportation and interdisciplinary analyses, low speed impact, whiplash, seat-belt, airbags, slip/trip and fall, machine guarding, ladders, design and manufacturing defects, elevators and other lifts, structures, home and industrial products, sports equipment, playgrounds, construction, lighting, warnings, human factors, etc. I have more than 35 years expert witness experience with consultations, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

Relevant Experiences

I am a mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience on all types of heavy machinery. I am experienced in accident reconstruction frame-by-frame video analysis. I have expertise in industrial and consumer warning labels.

I have a construction and signage safety background and am knowledgeable biomechanics of tripping. 

I have been analyzing stair fall down cases for 25 years and have experience regarding their safety, codes and standards and user biomechanical issues.

I am a licensed PE in NY and have handled many seat belt issue cases.

I have done basketball court design safety issue cases in the past and am familiar with space requirements beyond the playing court, as well as related biomechanics and human factors issues.

I have mechanical and biomechanical test experience with sharpness and skin substitutes.

I have expertise in lighting, safety, and Human Factors Engineering.

I have been a warnings expert on many cases and am familiar with warnings outside the cab that instruct that the lifting structure not be used for lifting personnel.
