I have more than 35 years of experience in the Automotive industry with expertise in Automotive Design and Technology. My experience includes testing and evaluation of drivetrains, suspension systems, brake systems; chassis control systems including electronic stability control systems, and vehicle handling and vehicle stability. I formulate opinions from available factual data about vehicle trajectories, vehicle characteristics, failure modes, and design characteristics. I evaluate the potential effect of design alternatives and available technology on accident outcome compared to baseline design, and conduct research relating to active vehicle safety programs. I have over 15 years of expert witness experience with consultation and courtroom testimony.

I am an automotive engineer, I have extensive automotive engine pathology, testing and design experience of over 37 years. I am an expert on automotive restoration and vehicular pathology. I have worked with all major US and most major European OEMs. My designs and inventions can be found on thousands of vehicles on more than a dozen makes and models, with commercial names such as QuadraDrive and VersaTrak.

Camshaft drive systems such as timing chains and timing belts are within the scope of my expertise, including recommended design practices such as designs to minimize damage due to chain failure, fail safe design practices and high reliability designs. I have worked and testified on many heavy truck cases and cases involving retrieving and interpreting blackbox data, cases involving brakes, brake design and recalls. I will be happy to help.

I have extensive experience with brakes, racing brakes, carbon fiber brakes and friction materials, friction material noise and vibration at OEM level.

I have devised a new test setup in my laboratory that can detect and identify any “cheat” algorithms in engine control computers, including built in features designed to deceive exhaust emission and EPA fuel consumption tests. I can use this setup for any make and model vehicles. The setup provides indisputable data to be used as firm evidence.

I have many years of experience with vans, conversions, wheels, hubs, suspensions and rollovers. I have designed rear axles for the E350 van.

I am an expert on Ferrari transmissions. I have worked with Ferrari as an engineer and have extensive experience especially with F1 and double clutch automated gearboxes.

I have been working on traffic safety for over 18 years and I routinely use IIHS data, NHTSA data and FARS reporting system data as well as other statistical data to support my opinions.
