For over 30 years, my career in Social Work has specialized in Child Abuse and Foster Care. I have experience practicing in medical settings with adults, children, and families. My expertise includes individual, family and group therapy and counseling; facilitation of patient and family support groups; child abuse case assessment and collaboration with the Department of Child & Family Services; emergency room trauma & crisis intervention; and collaboration with interdisciplinary team and advocate for patient and family needs. I also specialize in psychosocial evaluations for inpatient and outpatient liver, intestinal, and lung transplant programs; and grief and bereavement counseling, crisis intervention to individuals, couples and families. I have also served as adjunct professor in Social Work at an accredited university.Areas of Expertise
