I have over 40 years of experience in Economics in regards to East Asian Automotive economics. My expertise is in the future of the domestic Japanese industry, on the technological role of suppliers, on "roadmaps" as a tool for coordinating innovation, and on the political economy of the industry in China. I have additional knowledge in shifts in consumption affecting the rhythm of daily life, the rise of car-based suburbs replete mall-based retailing, and the transition in working lives with the shift to an urban-based service economy. I have also spent over a decade working as an economics expert witness in Virginia.
