I have experience in IC design and testing. My masters and Ph.D. degrees involved custom IC design and packaging. I also have extensive experience with physical design of electronic hardware, including IC packaging, board layout, case design, and test fixture design.

My background is in analog electronics, including a Ph.D. in analog circuit design from an Ivy League university, and industry experience at major technology companies. I also hold two patents and have authored several journal articles in analog electronics. I have designed circuits in the past with delays and adders.
I have extensive knowledge of the NTSC video standard and the concepts of field de-interlacing, frame rate, and interpolation. I understand the shortcomings of NTSC as it relates to conversion to digital for display on a modern computer monitor or modern digital television.
I have a lot of experience doing forensic analysis of failed electronic devices and software. In addition, I have worked extensively in e-commerce relating to credit card authorizations and payments. I have had my own engineering consulting firm since 2001.
