Areas of Expertise
I have extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of sepsis. The ED where I work sees an annual volume of approximately 75,000 patients. We have developed and implemented a sepsis protocol that screens, identifies, and directs the initiation of treatment for sepsis in our ED. As an Emergency Physician in this setting I have personally treated many patients for the condition of sepsis, as well as dealt with many of its complications. I am also boarded in both Emergency Medicine and Family Practice, which gives me a broad-based knowledge base to address the issues in this case contextually. Finally, I have been doing File and Death Reviews for the Ohio BWC for many years. In the course of this work I have reviewed multiple claims involving sepsis and related diagnoses and related issues. Consequently, I am confident that I an quite capable of providing your client with the level of expertise and experience they are seeking.
