Expertise DescriptionI have more than 7 years experience in the field of Materials Science with expertise in failure analysis of consumer, industrial and biomedical products, material testing and characterization, metals, stress analysis, corrosives, electron scanning microscopy, destructive testing, mathematical modeling, nondestructive testing, and tensile strength. I have knowledge of Atomic Force Microscopy, Vibrating Sample Magnetometer, Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry, X-Ray Diffractometry, X-Ray Florescence, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy, and Energy Dispersive Spectrometry. I have over 5 years expert witness experience.
Areas of Expertise
My professional experience includes being a Mechanical & Materials Engineer, as well as a Research Assistant.
I have electrical engineer and chemical engineer background and done quite a few battery cases, ranging from lead acid, nicd to lithium batteries. I did the investigation of a massive and complex construction defect case that involved underground buried pipeline that failed.
I have done hundreds of plastic water lines failure cases. I have seen every failure imaginable with it. I have done quite a few analyses of foam, including bras, sofas and so on.
I have done previous solar panel cases on electrical and some on fire. I have also experience on the patent side as well as trade dispute (though not on solar panels). I do have a professional Electrical Engineering license from state of CA.
