I have over 30 years experience in engineering specializing in fires; explosions; fire protection; civil, electrical and mechanical failure analysis; design; construction; management of industrial plant production equipment; material handling machinery; and explosive mining equipment. My areas of expertise include fire cause and origin, explosions, large loss expert coordination and related mechanical and electrical failures. I have previously been deposed and have testified as an expert witness.

I have completed many fire pattern reconstructions and analyses regarding fan fires.  I have participated in and am familiar with several manufacturers fan fires including product testing, disassembly, winding analysis, thermal fuse analysis and failure modes, internal wiring connections including the motor crimp analysis and analysis of combustible material ratings.
