I am a Mechanical Engineer with experience in roof-mounted and package HVAC units in commercial and school buildings. My expertise includes: failure analysis of vehicle, appliances, tools, machinery, equipment, HVAC, industrial, commercial, oil field, marine, residential, piping/piping components/pressure vessel design/failure analysis; ANSI B31.1 & B31.3; ASME Sections I & VIII; slip, trip and fall/building code compliance/ADA compliance/premises liability. I have more than 15 years expert witness experience with consultations, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

Relevant Experiences

I have extensive experience in forensic equipment defects and warnings cases over the last 21 years. I have extensive experience with piping and piping components from my 16 years experience with a major chemical plant.

I currently have three active airbag cases with Plaintiff attorneys where the airbag did not deploy, even though the speeds and angles of impact were well within the thresholds for deployment. I am a hands-on Mechanical Engineer, a mechanic and a licensed P.E.

I am a hands-on mechanical engineer and mechanic with all necessary tools and instruments. I inspected a vehicle in Georgia last Wednesday regarding non-deployed airbags. I testify next Tuesday in deposition regarding non-deployed PT Cruiser airbags. I have practiced as a forensic engineer over 23 years. I am a licensed P.E. in Texas.

I have extensive experience in Product Defect type cases and Premise Liability type cases over the last 23 plus years. I am a registered P.E. in Texas. My drilling rig experience includes a mobile track driven auger leg amputation case in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and a mobile track driven fatality near Houston, Texas. I also worked in stationary auger arm amputation case.

I have 16 years experience in Chemical Plant Operations and Maintenance in an Occidental Chemical Co. ethylene plant and a Dow Chemical Co. high pressure polyethylene unit. As a supervising employee, I possess the owner’s perspective regarding how hot work was conducted under specific Safety Guidelines and Requirements. Said hot work included welding, cutting, and hot taps on live hydrocarbon containing pipelines. I am extremely familiar with the industry standards from the owner’s viewpoint and from the Contractor’ Responsibilities. Additionally, I have worked as a Forensic Engineer for over 23 years, including cases where I have defended Petroleum Terminal Owners and Chemical Plant Owners, and have worked for Plaintiff attorneys against Refineries. I am a licensed P.E. in Texas and I have testified in Michigan.

I have extensive experience in Product Defect type cases and Premise Liability type cases over the last 23 plus years. I am a registered P.E. in Texas. The Dietrich D50 is a mobile drilling rig for soil and rock exploration using augers, rotary or core drilling tools. My drilling rig experience includes a mobile track driven arger leg amputation case in San Juan, Puerta Rico, and a mobile track driven fatality near Houston, Texas. I also worked a stationary auger arm amputation case near Corpus Christi, Texas.

I have practiced Forensic engineering for over the last 23 years. I have extensive product liability experience in design and warnings. I have worked at least three “pinch point” product liability case in Hidalgo County in the last eight years.
I have extensive experience in welding of hydrocarbon containing piping and vessels, including new installations, modifications, and repairs. I worked a combined 16 years at a Dow Chemical polyethylene unit and at an Oxidental Chemical ethylene/propylene plant functioning as a maintenance engineer, project engineer and project manager on projects ranging from a few thousand dollars to $20,000,000. I am well versed in the ASME Pressure Vessel Code (Section VIII, Division 1) and ASME/ANSI Piping Codes (B31.1 and B31.3). I have worked numerous cases in Louisiana during my 23 plus years as a forensic engineer, and testified in Trial in Marksville, LA, in April 2017.

I have extensive experience in product defect cases with mobile and stationary equipment/machinery, including several industrial conveyors where body parts were severed. I have practiced Forensic Engineering for over 23 years.

I have extensive experience in construction accidents over the past 25 plus years. I am a licensed Texas Professional Engineer.

I have extensive experience in OSHA matters in Industrial, Commercial, and Construction Industries. I have over 25 years forensic engineering experience. I am a registered Professional Engineer in Texas. I have worked many cases in Dallas and Testified in Trial in Dallas.
