Areas of Expertise
I have extensive experience in evaluating crane mats (design, installation, etc.) in my work as an expert in crane operations. Most of that experience is in post-incident evaluations, such as a crane tip or collapse due to a poorly designed/installed mat. I also have access to a testing laboratory that specializes in grading wood members.
I have extensive experience in crane operations, maintenance, repairs and failure investigations. My expertise included draglines, crawler cranes, truck-mounted cranes, stationary units, etc. I have testified on crane and dragline setup and operations, including pad design and erection.
