I am an expert in food science and have specific experience in peanut butter R&D. I have over 40 years of experience in Food Technology and have worked before with patent and patent attorneys.
I have been involved in food product development for the food industry for some 40 years, some of these have been beverages. None, however, have been alcoholic beverages although some have been mixes for same.
I ran the research function for Fisher Nuts as well as for Peter Pan Peanut Butter. During this time, my groups developed several new nut products as well as a new formula, process and manufacturing location for peanut butter.
Later, I was involved as an expert in a nut case that went only to deposition. It was in regard to some Brazil nuts that cleared customs with very low aflatoxin levels in Mobile, became contaminated while in the US, was distributed in the US, until finally, they tried to send some to Canada. Canadian customs detected aflatoxin at some 2000 ppb.
Still later I did some consulting for the only peanut butter manufacturer in Egypt. He also made small bags of peanuts for Egypt Air.
I frequently have food samples tested analytically (protein, salt, fat, sugar profile,etc.) in order to do food technology. I am not an expert on chemical methodology, but certainly I am in the use of chemical data in the pursuit of food technology.
I have extensive experience in the labeling of food products and some experience with supplements.
