I have more than 30 years experience in the field of Architecture with expertise in Forensic Architecture. My experience includes analysis on building systems such as below grade waterproofing, decks and balconies, roofing, windows, curtain walls, plaster, gypsum board, fire resistive construction, building codes, personal injury, windows installation, construction disputes, and design. I have over 20 years expert witness experience with consultations, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

Relevant Experiences

I have testified many times regarding roofing issues in southern California. Attachment and maintenance of roofing components is commonly a part of this testimony. I am confident that I can consult and testify, if necessary on issues related to this matter.

I have analyzed roofs and roofing membranes for over 25 years. I will visually inspect the entire roof. I will photograph the roofing and damage and prepare field sketches wherever helpful to illustrate the conditions. I can competently testify to the conditions and cause of the damages.

As an Architect, I have testified on waterproofing and painting for over 25 years. I have been an Architect in Florida since 2011.

I have testified at trial, arbitration and deposition over 50 times on cases involving water intrusion, waterproofing, and coatings. I am very experienced in all phases of the legal process involving water intrusion, defective construction, and other construction claims. I have analyzed claims related to developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and owners for the past 25 years.

I am very familiar with accessibility requirements and standards for parking lots. I have designed small shopping centers where pedestrians and vehicles must cross paths and pedestrians must be protected. I am qualified to analyze and testify on parking lot lay-out, sight lines and signage as well as to document the conditions for trial.
