My expertise includes wage and hour class-action cases in industries such as packaging, hospitality, health care, distribution, entertainment, printing, mining, wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury and government. I have experience in wage and hour issues with overtime, meal breaks, independent contractor vs. employee, temporary vs. regular, work off-the-clock, and exempt vs. non exempt. I have experience in business litigation cases involving breach of contract, royalty fees, business interruption, unfair competition, theft of trade secrets, and insurance bad-faith. I have additional experience in wrongful termination cases due to discrimination based on age, gender, sexual harassment, race, and ethnicity. I am also knowledgeable in fraudulent inducement, theft of trade secret, breach of contract, royalty dispute and defamation cases. I have handled widely-publicized wage and hours cases in industries such as packaging, hospitality, healthcare, distribution, entertainment, printing, mining, and government. I have served as an expert in approximately 50 wage and hours matters.

I have experience with many employment cases over the last 11 years including discrimination, fraudulent inducement, whistle-blower, defamation, and failure to promote.

I am a forensic economist practicing in the areas of business and employment litigation. My expert witness assignments have included theft of trade secrets, breach of contract, royalties disputes, insurance bad-faith, and business interruption. Prior to becoming a forensic economist in 2003, I held executive and management positions in Finance and Quality Assurance for manufacturing.

I have prepared lost profits damages in business interruption cases involving restaurants. I also am a business valuator and have prepared valuations of eating and drinking establishments.

As part of approximately 100 wrongful termination or personal injury cases, I have calculated the impact of the injury on various local, state, federal, teachers, safety, pensions.
