I specialize in Clinical and Forensic Neuropsychology. I have been in Practice in California for over 30 years. I have extensive experience in criminal, civil, and family law cases. Specialty areas are assessment of sexual deviance, false confession, eyewitness ID, civil and criminal competency, and mitigation in capital cases. I conduct neuropsychological assessment of individuals with blast, flash, shockwave and blunt force head trauma, and concussions. I was Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science and I have written peer-reviewed articles in the areas of Clinical and Forensic Psychology. I also have extensive experience in individual and family therapy as well as crisis intervention. I have over 20 years of expert witness experience with consultations, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

I was instrumental in assisting individuals with obtaining new trials. I have testified in child custody matters as well as death penalty cases.

I have served as a Clinical Consultant. I have assisted with sheltered workshops, as well as consultant to psychological treatment services, conducted assessments to identify psycho-educational, psychological and neuropsychological problems, and I have provided pro bono consulting services to rape crisis center and domestic violence shelter.

My professional experience is strong in clinical neuropsychological assessment and crisis intervention services. I have had extensive training and supervision from mentors in neurology, neuropsychology, and forensic psychology. I have augmented considerably my knowledge and skills in neuropsychology having recently completed a 16 week course in Clinical Neuroanatomy.
