I have more than 15 years experience in the field of Forensic Psychology with expertise in evaluations of adults and minors. I have experience with Personal Psychological Injury, Fitness for Duty, Psychological Autopsy, Criminal Evaluation; and Worker’s Compensation Evaluations. I have additional knowledge of alcohol-related blackouts, assessment of dangerousness, sexual abuse allegations, effects of sexual abuse, violent and sex-offender risk-appraisals, sanity board development and findings, personality disorders related to crimes and accusations, memory, therapeutic recommendations, child custody recommendations, effects of trauma, emotional impact, child abuse reporting, parental alienation, malingering, adult psychology, psychological assessments and diagnosis, and other topics. I have over 10 years expert witness experience with consultation, deposition, and court testimony.

Expert Witness

My expert witness experience includes civil and criminal cases of sexual abuse, violent and sex-offender risk-appraisals, sanity board development and findings, personality disorders related to crimes and accusations, and memory. 

Consulting Experience

My consulting experience includes trial strategy, jury selecting, generating direct and cross-examinations of witnesses as well as opening an closing statements, preparing witnesses, along with most other aspects of criminal trials. 

Professional Experiences

My professional experience includes being a Psychologist, with prior experience as a Staff Psychologist, and Clinical Psychology Intern. I have additional teaching and instruction experience. 

Relevant Experiences

I have been trained as both a clinical psychologist and a forensic psychologist. My current practice is both clinical and forensic and over the past 15 years I have diagnosed and treated a large number of individuals with Bipolar II disorder. I have also testified about the disorder a number of times to include serving as both a fact witness related to the disorder and an expert witness whose primary job was to educate the finder of fact on the disorder and how the disorder related to the facts of the case.

I served as a psychologist in the United States Air Force for four years and have been working as a forensic psychologist and consultant with the Air Force for the past ten years. I have a great deal of knowledge and experience with the inner workings of and the ailments and mental trauma associated with the military. I have completed hundreds of evaluations for almost every forensic need. I have written hundreds of official forensic reports making recommendations based on my evaluations and have testified regularly regarding said recommendations. Many of my evaluations have centered around assessing mental capacity, in civil, criminal, and family law settings.
