My expertise includes: tank car loading and unloading operations; tank car mechanical inspections and evaluations; transportation of hazardous materials; toxic vapors; railroad main line and yard switching operations; safety consulting; accident investigation; Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) hazardous materials regulations; toxicity; rail car fleet inspections; rail operations; railroad commodity liability; and railroad injury. I have prior expert witness experience with consultations, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

My expert witness experience includes: Defective equipment and safety appliances; Injury by hazardous vapors from leaking tank car of hazardous materials; Injury by freight care brake shoe in violation of operating rules; Accident injury in a carrier train yard where yardmaster failed to follow SOPs and compliance with safety rules; Fumes from burning and overheated locomotive batteries resulted in injury; Eduction line closure cap blew off resulting in injury by sulfuric acid; Negligent placement of tank car material resulting in contamination of kosher material; Toxic torts; Railroad commodity liability.
