I have more than 40 years of experience in the field of Employee and Employer Relations as a corporate and field HR/employee and labor relations executive. I have extensive experience in employee complaints, compensation plans, benefit plans, employee grievances, employment agreements, employment discrimination, employee misconduct, employee screening procedures, fair employment practices, mergers and acquisitions, current issues in human resources, retaliation and wrongful termination. During my career I have served as: Chief Human Resources Officer; Chief Compliance Officer; Chief Labor Spokesperson; Affirmative Action Officer; Secretary to Boards of Directors, among other positions. I have worked closely with Boards of Directors, private equity firms, lawyers, bankers, insurance companies as well as numerous federal and state compliance agencies. I have over 5 years expert witness experience with consultation, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

Expert Witness

My expert witness experience includes the adequacies of hospital’s investigation of employee sexual harassment complaint, city’s employee complaint investigation, restaurant chain investigation of employee harassment complaint, as well as the likelihood of future wage increases for setting of deceased employee pension, and failure of employer and union to adhere to collective bargaining agreement.

My background in sexual harassment claims includes over thirty years of experience as a corporate senior HR executive overseeing the employer’s investigation and response to all types of wrongful conduct claims including sexual harassment. One of my areas of oversight was the correct classification of employees for both Federal and California purposes. Additionally, I have trained hundreds of restaurant supervisors, managers and executives on how to avoid claims of harassment and have written and conducted training on the proper investigation of sexual harassment claims.
