Expertise DescriptionI have over 45 years experience in mechanical engineering with expertise in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, materials, structures and instrumentation. My specialties also include cryogenics engineering and hydraulics, pneumatics and thermal management systems. My accomplishments include having conceived and developed a large hydrogen calorimeter test laboratory for Space Shuttle developments and aircraft thrust reverser concept for fighter aircraft.
Areas of Expertise
My consulting services include: development of a cryogenic propellant mass quantity gauging system for low-gravity space applications and a large hydrodynamic transient flow facility; flow-induced structural instability studies for deep ocean mining; pump performance mapping and certification to industrial standards; automated systems design for testing rotational machinery and valves for a naval shipyard.
