Expertise Description

I have over 55 years experience as a biochemistry and in mechanical engineering issues. My areas of expertise include: mechanical design, biomechanics, human factors engineering, mechanical behavior of materials, accident reconstruction, manufacturing issues. I have 45 years expert witness experience with consultations, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

Relevant Experiences

I have experience with designing spaces that are pressurized for different reasons. I have decades of experience instructing design, human factors, air-conditioning and heating classes.

I have ample experiences with wheelchairs, their design and repair, maintenance etc. During my many years of teaching design and project courses as a professor, my students redesigned wheelchairs and improved their performance for wheelchair companies. Also, some projects dealt with design of similar equipment for which we won numerous awards. I taught design, fabrication/manufacturing as well as human factors classes over the years and am able to assist the client.

I have taught and published in the design of mechanism and linkages, human factors/ergonomics, and presence or absence of warning signs, as well as testified in courts.
