Expertise DescriptionI have more than 30 years experience in the practice of Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology. I am a Professor of Pathology and Medicine, as well as a staff Physician. In addition to clinical Infectious Disease consultation, and service as a Medical Director of a Microbiology Laboratory, I have had an active research laboratory focusing on innate immunity, immunity to infectious diseases and coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever). I have over 10 years expert witness experience with consultation, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

I have extensive experience in dealing with immunocompromised patients. I am an Infectious Disease physician with more than 30 yrs experience. I have experience in adult cases where pathogenic bacteria caused disease after drinking raw milk. Pathogenic E coli and Salmonella are two common organisms that can contaminate milk and are killed by pasteurization but persist in raw milk. Pathogenic E coli can also be obtained from other sources as well.
