Expertise DescriptionI have more than 40 years experience in the field of Mechanical and Material Engineering with expertise in fluid dynamics and industrial energy utilization. My research has encompassed the mechanics of fishing equipment, including fishing rods and the design of fly-casting equipment for optimal performance. My experience also includes the examination of the simultaneous heat and moisture transport through building materials and structures, moisture conditions in microclimates, woodstove performance, the fundamental processes of heat and mass transfer during drying, HVAC system efficiency, intellectual property and patent matters. I have over 15 years expert witness experience with consultation and deposition.
Areas of Expertise
I hold a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering and am a registered Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering. I have many years of experience in fishing equipment design and have written many articles published in both technical journals and lay magazines on the subject. I have also done expert witness legal work before on several patent and intellectual property cases.
