Expertise DescriptionI have over 20 years experience in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in machine design, computer optimization of structure and performance, machine shop skills, welding, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, project management, optical disk drives, and atomic resolution storage. I have additional knowledge in solar and renewable energy with expertise in low cost inverters for solar power, energy storage flywheel design, and low cost, multi-GW power distribution. I have supplemental expertise in High Performance Fibers (HPFs) for use in aerospace (turbo machinery, rockets, airframes, nuclear thermal propulsion), nuclear power (fault tolerant fuel rod cladding and Fuel in Fiber"), and other industries that require advanced materials with exceptional strength, stiffness, heat resistance and/or chemical resistance. I have over 30 years expert witness experience.
