Expertise DescriptionI have more than 30 years experience in intellectual property, product development, and product liability litigation. I have been working as an attorney and professional engineer with an extensive background in electrical engineering. I have represented clients in all intellectual property aspects of electrical, chemical, software, and automotive components. My expertise includes project/design management, electrical system design / architecture, regulatory requirements, and product development. I also have expertise in the analysis of auto vehicles, systems, and components, including airbags, seat belts, and system diagnostics. I have also offered my services for over 15 years as an electrical engineering, medical device design expert witness in Michigan and have provided numerous clients with consultations, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

I have provided expert witness reports, inspections, accident reconstruction, photographs, occupant kinematics & injury causation, component and system analyses.
I have worked as a technical consultant by conducting objective, expert analysis, research, and investigation of all aspects of Intellectual Property; Patents, Products and Technologies
I am an expert in a design patent case involving headlights against Paccar currently.
I also have been an expert in fire cases previously. I am enclosing a Louisiana appeals court decision where they used my trial testimony as the basis for reversing a trial court verdict.
I am have BSEE, BS Chemical Engineering, and an MSEE with extensive experience in automotive electronics and architectures.
On the Louisiana Appeals opinion, a fire case involving a Ford Truck F150, I was the expert. They used my testimony on appeal to reverse the lower court.
I have looked at NASS Data, FARS data, and UMTRI data to testify about opine on safety benefits and risks as related to many types of crashes and also for many different types of safety devices. I have testified extensively about this in numerous cases and can definitely analyze the data related to traffic safety statistics and testify about temporary hand controls and the related safety history.
