I have experience offering in-house analytical services related to characterization of advanced metallic, nonmetallic, ceramic, and composite materials, including metals, rubber, fiberglass, ceramics, and plastics. My areas of expertise include: product liability, personal injury, and patent infringement cases, as well as, failure analysis involving: general corrosion, wear, and mechanical issues; surface characteristics; product development and design; automotive failures (axles, springs, tires, engine components), welds, plumbing / piping, medical devices, chairs / furniture, industrial hardware and machines, construction defects, bicycle accidents, paint analysis, gas and propane explosions and fires, and food contamination issues. I have 35 years expert witness experience with consultations, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

My consulting services include: Research and testing lab with state of the art scanning electron microscopes; X-Ray analysis; Metallography, materials forensic analysis; Ultrasonic testing; laser welding, laser heat treat processes into manufacturing; Development of newer wear resistant rubber materials and composite bonded rubber / metal laminates for major rubber research group; Metallurgical / mechanical engineering / corrosion, failure analysis investigations on aerospace, automotive, oil-field materials related to product liability, and manufacturing; Taught educational courses on failure analysis for ASM International to automotive an aerospace engineers and scientists.
I have done a number of fire sprinkler cases including depositions on sprinkler failures.
I have experience determining what the staining of the wood is, whether it’s dirt/coffee bean residue/shipping oil/grease or mold.
I have worked on concrete related slip and fall cases. I am able to characterize the concrete.
I have an in-house lab where corrosion analysis of species affecting pipes can be conducted.
I have conducted paint analysis in–house involving paint transfer and road-rage. I have also testified in arbitrations/depositions on paint layers involved in slip and fall claims. I have all the tools to run the analysis.
