Expertise DescriptionI have more than 5 years in Psychological Counseling with Board Certification as Psychologist Examiner and with Pediatric Neuropsychology. As a Neuropsychologist I conduct inpatient neuropsychological evaluations for patients presenting with acquired brain injury, and psychological evaluations and testing for patients presenting with depression, anxiety, and other psychological symptoms. I also screen and evaluate patients with stroke, brain injury, or memory impairments. I am part of an interdisciplinary team, which guides treatment planning, and provision of comprehensive rehabilitation with the goal of returning patients to school or work. I have over 5 years of expert witness experience.
Areas of Expertise
I am a board certified pediatric neuropsychologist. My degree is in Counseling Psychology. Many neuropsychologists strictly conduct neuropsychological assessment; however, I do both assessment and
counseling. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an evidence-based treatment for psychological trauma. I have treated both adolescents and adults with
trauma, and have served as an expert witness (for defense and plaintiff) in forensic cases in which the plaintiff has sustained psychological trauma.
