Expertise DescriptionI have more than 15 years of experience in the field of Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology. As a Clinical Neuropsychologist my expertise include traumatic brain injury from mild to severe, sport related concussions, and epilepsy. My practice includes patients presenting with a wide array of general medical and neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis, brain tumor, stroke, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, as well as psychiatric disorders. I have prior expert witness experience.
Areas of Expertise
I am a board certified neuropsychologist with a primary expertise in brain injury. I have completed two years of fellowship training in mild, moderate and severe brain injury, with an emphasis on mild traumatic brain injury (TBI) and the differential diagnosis of mild TBI and psychiatric disorders, e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD. I am a full time clinician in a neurology department within an academic medical center and I regularly perform evaluations on individuals with claims of brain injury or concussion in the context of worker’s compensation and disability claims, as well as providing general medical care. I also regularly lecture on the assessment, natural course of symptoms, and management of mild TBI.
