Areas of Expertise
I am a board certified internist with a sub-specialty in toxicology with forty years of experience in studying and treating and patients with exposures to toxic substances. I am now semi-retired and limiting my practice to consulting. A major portion of my current practice is helping people living or working in a location where they have been exposed to toxic chemicals. I have examined and treated 100’s of lung cancer patients and have testified in trial and at deposition in many of them.
I have an extensive experience with benzene toxicity, including neurological effects. I have conducted numerous studies of individuals exposed to asbestos, creosote, lead, arsenic, PAHs, dioxins, benzene, trichloroethylene, diesel exhaust, gasoline, and other volatile organic compounds (VOC), as well as chromium, silica, PCBs, DDT, mold, PFOA, heavy metals, strontium and many other toxic agents. These studies have been conducted in 25 different states as well as internationally in 3 different countries. My team has extensive field experience in evaluating and gathering data on groups in a timely, cost effective process in order to assess if there is an association between exposure and rates of health problems in the group under study.
