Expertise DescriptionI have more than 40 years of experience with drilling well sites and over 25 years as a Professional Engineer in both Petroleum and Environmental Engineering. I have been Drill Site Manager, and also a Professor instructing on subjects such as drilling fluids and technology, petroleum computational methods, reservoir fluids, well completions, well logging, and artificial lift. I also provide forensic engineering investigations for site accidents and issues. I have over 10 years expert witness experience with consultation and deposition.
Areas of Expertise
I have worked as a drilling well site supervisor for a major energy company in 1980-82 and again in 2011. My Ph.D. research focused on solid-liquid separation and am well versed in vortex separation.
I am well-versed in fishing operations and all the associated jobs and procedures and personnel. I can render an opinion regarding whether the proper procedure was used to test the accuracy of the weight indicator before the accident.
I have worked as a company man and been deposed and represent both plaintiffs and defendants in similar cases that involved what a company man was supposed to know.
