Expertise DescriptionI have more than 15 years of experience as a Podiatrist with expertise in Podiatric Surgery. I have established a strong surgical and clinical practice where I see approximately 80 patients in the office per week and perform approximately 200 surgeries per year. With a diverse patient population I have been able to participate in several clinical trials, including diabetic foot ulcer studies and one laser nail study. As a Program Director at a Podiatric medicine program, I participate in the didactic, clinical, and surgical training of medical students. I have over 5 years of expert witness experience with consultation and trial testimony.
Areas of Expertise
I have been practicing Podiatry in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 2002. I have served on the faculty of a local prominent hospital affiliated residency training program for my entire practice. Since 2009, I have been the residency program director. I am responsible for the thorough training of my residents. My practice includes forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction. I see approximately 75 patients per week and perform up to 200 surgeries per year. I perform approximately 15-20 hallux limitus/rigidus surgeries per year and use first MTPJ silastic implants approximately 5 times per year.
