Expertise DescriptionMy work in the field of Radiology has spanned over a decade with expertise in neuro-, musculoskeletal, emergency imaging, mammography, and digital MRI/MRA. I am MQSA compliant, including digital mammography, and I evaluate all MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and radiographs. I also have an additional two years of orthopedic surgery residency training, and thus have particular interest in trauma, ER, and musculoskeletal imaging. As a radiologist expert witness in California, I have experience in consultations and deposition.
Areas of Expertise
Over the past 10 years, I have primarily been involved in Radiologist, Primary Care Physician, and Emergency Physician defense in multiple complicated cases ranging from trauma/ER cases to alleged missed cancer diagnosis in the outpatient. Modalities most often evaluated are xray/radiograph, MRI, and CT. My reports are evidence-based and supported by scientific literature, and my oral testimony is strong, credible, and specific.
Other than case review, I am an advisory board member or consultant to multiple health technology companies, as well as mentor for the Thiel Fellowship program.
My professional experience includes diagnostic and interventional radiology in the ER, ICU, outpatient, and inpatient settings in all modalities and body parts. I also serve on the Hospital Quality Assurance and Physician Improvement committees and review cases within the hospital.
I have specific training in pediatric imaging from Seattle Children’s hospital, with particular experience with imaging of anoxic brain injury, especially of children, and traumatic brain injury of both children and adults.
