Expertise DescriptionI have more than 30 years of experience in the field of Computer Science as a software req/design/test engineer, professor, principal investigator, senior research scientist, business developer and conference chair. My experience includes different sets of computer programs, radar, infrared, avionics instruments, counter measures, as well as research and development of avionics equipment and products. My background also encompasses computing services for flight controls, integrated vehicle subsystems in aircrafts, hydraulics, cockpit life support, and patent infringement issues related to encryption and sensor technology. I have held faculty appointments and R&D positions at laboratories and various fortune 100 companies, and I have published articles and served as editor on numerous proceedings/journal concerned with developing and validating models, applications and methods for developing safe, secure and dependable systems. I have prior expert witness experience.
Areas of Expertise
I have more than 30 years in the industry (software engineering (S/E) and computer science). While I was a sr. research scientist I submitted at least 12 invention disclosures and a smaller number of copyrights. I am a co-inventor on at least four granted patents.
I took an educational leave from my research to complete my PhD residency requirement at a prestigious university, and taught various classes in S/E and Discrete Math before obtaining my degree in 1996.
