I have experience with directing, preparing, and reviewing health and ecological risk assessments and risk assessment work plans for hazardous waste sites, mine and smelter sites, Brownfields, air toxins, waste incinerators and other air toxic emission sources, rock quarries, school sites, military bases, radionuclide sites, and landfills. My experience also includes vapor intrusion risk assessments, indoor air risk assessments, Proposition 65 compliance risk assessments, crystalline silica exposure, consumer product safety assessment (especially nutritional supplements), building assessment, and contaminated building risk assessments. I have over 30 years expert witness experience with consultation, deposition, and courtroom testimony.

My consulting experience includes consumer product safety risk assessments, hazardous waste site risk assessments and risk assessment work plans, mining/smelter site risk assessments, proposition 65 risk assessments, vapor intrusion and indoor air risk, accidental release and emergency response, radionuclide risk, ecological risk, probabilistic risk, and contaminated building risks.
My professional experience includes being the Principal of a Toxicology firm, as well as Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
I am a board certified Toxicologist with almost 30 years of experience assessing the human health risks associated with chemicals in the environment and workplace, and with consumer products. I am the founder of a company which specializes in the advanced assessment of health risks related to chemical exposures. I have a PhD in Toxicology and Pharmacology, a Master of Public Health in Environmental, and a BS in Natural Resources from prominent universities.
I was the National Risk Assessment Leader for two nationwide environmental consulting firms. As such, I have experience preparing health risk assessments in many states across the country, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and others. I have specific project experience in directing, preparing and reviewing health risk assessments and risk assessment work-plans for mine and smelter sites, military sites (including firing ranges), waste incinerators and other air toxic emission sources, hazardous waste sites, Brownfields, rock quarries, school sites, radionuclide sites, and landfills. My experience also includes workers’ compensation cases, vapor intrusion risk assessments, indoor air risk assessments, Proposition 65 compliance risk assessments, crystalline silica exposure, consumer product risk assessment, contaminated building risk assessments, contaminated nutritional supplements, and expert witness testimony/support.
