Expertise DescriptionI have worked for more than 5 years in transportation safety. My areas expertise include collision factors, including projects related to vehicle crashworthiness, vehicle dynamics, impact analysis, roadway design and sustainable operations, injury biomechanics, supplemental restraint systems, infrastructure- based safety programs, and temporary traffic control devices. I have prior experience offering my services as a transportation safety expert witness.
Areas of Expertise
My professional experience includes being actively involved in safety research, publications, and teaching. I have also been an experienced lecturer and instructor at university engineering programs.
I have a Master’s and Ph.D. in transportation safety a prominent tech university as well as being licensed as an EIT. I have worked on many cases involving limited sight distance, paving contracts, and a variety of other transportation, construction, and traffic engineering topics. I am very aware of the issues surrounding limited sight distance as well as local and national engineering standards that apply to cases such as these. Additionally, I have previously taught undergraduate-level courses in traffic engineering and transportation safety which covers topics such as sight distance, intersection design, and paving. I have also authored many papers in peer-reviewed transportation journals.
