Expertise DescriptionI have more than 40 years of experience in multiple areas of career advising, academic and vocational schools, personal injury and other evaluations for estimating wage loss, earning capacity, employability and performing economic calculations for law offices. My specialty includes Life Care Plans and economic assessments. My career includes research and writing peer reviewed journal articles and being on professional boards to advise and develop continued education programs. I have testified in over 350 trials ranging from Louisiana, California, Oregon, Hawaii, Alaska, with most work in Washington State. I have spent over 35 years as a vocational rehabilitation expert witness by providing consultations, deposition, and courtroom testimony for numerous clients.
Areas of Expertise
My expert witness experience includes over 350 trials in various courts, State and Federal and never have been denied or excluded. My work offers both vocational rehabilitation, career advising, and Life Care Plans. I have specialized training, knowledge, and experience in economic calculations including reducing loss wages or benefits to present value. I am called upon to speak at professional conferences to teach colleagues methodology in practice in numerous states, including Mexico and Canada.
My consulting experience includes personal injury, auto and liability cases (Manufacture defects, etc.), maritime/Jones Act and Longshore and Harbor workers cases for both plaintiffs and defense. I have testified in various cities in divorce cases and employment law cases. My work includes critiques of opposing expert witnesses.
My professional experience includes labor market research, wage earning assessments, preparing complex reports, analysis of job duties, skills, education, intellectual assessments and exertion requirements. I worked for an outpatient mental health agency and developed special skills to evaluate those individuals with a variety of mental health disorders.
